About Knox Water Polo Club

Founded in 2025, Knox Water Polo Club is a proud initiative of the Old Knox Grammarians’ Association (OKGA), established to provide a strong and enduring presence for water polo within the Knox community and beyond. The club exists to promote excellence, participation, and enjoyment in the sport, while upholding the values and traditions associated with the OKGA.

As a newly established but ambitious club, our mission is to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and high‑achieving environment for players of all levels — from those new to the sport through to experienced athletes seeking competitive opportunities. We are committed to developing the skills, confidence, and character of our members through structured coaching, fair competition, and a supportive club culture.

Knox Water Polo Club offers programs for both men's and women's, with a focus on long-term skills development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Our teams compete in Sydney Metro competitions through Water Polo NSW (WPNSW), providing pathways for both recreational and social-competitive participation. Training sessions and home games are held at state-of-the-art Knox Aquatic Centre, ensuring our athletes have access to the resources they need to thrive.

Beyond the pool, we aim to build a connected and engaged community of players, coaches, and supporters. As part of the OKGA, we draw on a strong network of alumni and friends, united by shared values and a commitment to the continued growth of water polo at Knox.
